On the 5th of May Google announced several new features in Google AdWords including new ad formats and new features for existing functions. We summarize the most important innovations below:
New Ad Formats
After mobilegeddon it is obvious that Google focuses on mobile advertising by introducing new ad formats for mobile devices.
Users can see the in- and outside of a car model based on a picture carousel. In addition, information about the car model will appear by clicking on the pictures.
With this ad format users are able to compare prices from several platforms. What makes this ad format special is the option to book a hotel directly via the ad.
New Features in Existing Ad Formats
The existing shopping ads will be optimized by enhanced product information and high quality pictures.
Dynamic Search Ads
This ad format will be enriched by automated functions, which will lead to an easier handling of the ads. In the future advertisers will have a more transparent insight of how their ads will be displayed in the AdWords system.
